Model history:

With an experimental vehicle of a very special kind, Opel surprised the trade press and visitors at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1965. Here a prototype was presented under the name "Opel GT Experimental". Over the years, the study has been further developed again and again and launched on the market in 1968 under the name Opel GT. The brisk body, which ultimately gave the car the decisive whistle, was manufactured by Opel in France by Brissoneau & Lotz - the assembly of the GT took place at the Bochum plant.

After consultation with the seller, he states that he does not know exactly how many owners called the GT their own in total - there is also no history of the vehicle anymore. In addition to 2 car keys, however, this Opel has a classic car report - the main inspection of this GT equipped with H license plates runs until November 2022.

Exterior Color/Paint/Body:

Originally delivered this Opel GT in the color yellow - over the years a complete paint was made and the car was completely repainted in black. An accident can be completely ruled out by the current holder, as defects in the exterior, this indicates that the turn signal glass at the front right is broken and there are a few cracks in the paintwork above the rear window. Just like the exterior, the interior is also black: the entire interior is kept in black and thus exudes a lot of sportiness. The current owner of the Opel GT can be mentioned that the driver's seat can unfortunately no longer be determined, but otherwise all controls, instruments and displays work perfectly. The generally maintained state of preservation of this car can be seen in detail in the pictures. The range of equipment of the vehicle includes, among other things, a retro radio.

Due to the fact that there is no history of this Opel GT, no exact statement can be made about the mileage. In any case, 3,740 kilometers can be read from the vehicle's 5-digit speedometer.

Under the hood works a 1.9-liter in-line four-cylinder engine, which delivers 90 hp and whose power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission. According to the seller, the last service work took place in October 2020.
