Model history:

After the sales figures of the 924 had meanwhile slumped, Porsche launched the 944, a vehicle on the market that clearly showed the handwriting of the Zuffenhausen-based company again. Although the money for a completely new body had been missing, the retouching carried out and above all the Porsche's own four-cylinder set a lot of positive accents. The new model was introduced in 1981, the motorized hammer followed in model year 1985: The 944 Turbo appeared and pushed initially turbocharged 220 hp to the rear axle. In 1986, Porsche launched a one-make cup for the 944 Turbo, in which specially modified "Cup" models were used. Only 200 units of the so-called Porsche 944 Turbo Cup were built.

This car was purchased at the presentation in Jarama (Madrid) directly from Porsche Spain with Spanish registration. Until 2019, the 944 drove in Spain and has since been registered in Germany with H license plate and TÜV. The last completed TÜV is valid until May 2024, matching numbers are completely given according to the seller's information and a traceable history including Porsche Classic certificate from 2022 is also available.
