Model history

In 1999, Audi presented the RS4 B5 as a high-performance model in the A4 series. As the direct successor to the Audi RS2, it once again combined the everyday practicality of a saloon or estate with impressive performance. Under the hood was a 2.7-liter V6 biturbo engine with 375 hp and 440 Nm of torque. The combination of Quattro all-wheel drive and a robust 6-speed manual gearbox made it possible to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. The aggressive look with wide fenders and striking air intakes made the RS4 B5 unmistakable. This first generation laid the foundation for a series of impressive RS models from Audi.
