Andere MV Augusta 750S America (1976)

Vehicle description

Model history

In the 1970s, MV Agusta came under state administration due to financial problems. The MV Agusta 750S America was relaunched in 1975 on the initiative of Chris Garville and Jim Cotherman. The aim was to make the bike more similar to the look of the MV racing machines in order to increase sales in the USA. Within just 50 days, the designs of the two entrepreneurs were put into practice at the Gallarate plant. The MV Agusta 750 Sport America was produced from 1975 to 1977, while derivative models were produced in limited numbers until 1982. Although prototypes were developed until 1977, they could not go into production due to the financial situation of the company. Production of the MV Agusta 750S America model was maintained until 1978, with a total of 540 copies produced.

General information about the vehicle

An MV Agusta 750S America from 1976 is offered for auction here. The machine was imported from Great Britain (1992) and has two owners in its history to date. Since 1992, this MV Augusta 750S America has had the same registration document. Furthermore, the current owner states that the MV Agusta will be handed over to the buyer with a new inspection and fresh MOT. Furthermore, he states that matching numbers are given and the MV Agusta is in a running condition, but is not registered at the moment. The motorcycle is certified by the owner to be free of accidents.

An extremely rare MV Agusta 750S America from 2nd hand and built in 1976 is offered for auction here. Apparently, the motorcycle is in good and well-kept condition. In addition, the machine has matching numbers and will be handed over to the buyer with new inspection and fresh MOT. Due to the very low production number alone, the MV Agusta offered here is a sought-after and, above all, very rare collector's item.
