Model history:

When Porsche presented the successor generation to the 964 model series at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt in autumn 1993, the design language of the 911 as it had been known since 1963 retired. Flat designed front fenders instead of the "cannon barrels" modernized the Elfer also visually. The designers in Zuffenhausen and Weissach succeeded so well with the design that even many years later it is still considered timelessly beautiful and therefore exemplary. For fresh air fanatics, there was also again a convertible in the model program, which was offered from 1994.

The interior design of the 993 has hardly changed compared to its predecessor 964, so it looks very familiar. The entire footwell carpet and the majority of the door panels are kept in beige color, just like the full leather seats.
