BMW Z1 (1990)

Moritz Niemann

Kickdown's Take

by Moritz Niemann

With its retractable doors, the BMW Z1 remains a true design icon of the early ’90s and is one of the rarest BMW classics. This particular car has been in the same ownership since 1990 and was originally a BMW demonstration vehicle. The 2.5-liter inline-six engine, producing 170 PS, runs flawlessly, and the car features new tires, replaced front shock absorbers, and a recent service. With an “H” license plate and TÜV certification valid through 2028, this Z1 is an attractive opportunity for collectors seeking a now-rare piece of BMW history.

LG Tom
