Model history:

The model series with the internal designation W123 replaced the "Stroke Eight" models in January 1976. The new series was larger, more modern and safer. A characteristic feature were the differently sized, round double headlights under a common diffuser. With the exception of the 280 and 280 E models, the round headlights, affectionately known as "ox eyes", were installed until the facelift in 1982. The sedan was followed in 1977 by a coupé and the first station wagon of the Mercedes brand: the estate.

General information about the vehicle:

In this auction a Mercedes 200 T from 1985 can be auctioned. This T-model with the FIN WDB1232801F046010 was ordered in Bochum, now has three holders and has spent several years in Belgium. The TÜV expired in February of this year, an H approval is already available. A checkbook is not available.

Exterior colour/varnish/body:

Most of the estate still bears the original coat with the manufacturer's colour designation "classic white" (737U). Only the bonnet has already been repainted. External modifications deviating from the original condition are not to be mentioned. In addition, according to the seller, the body has neither rust nor an accident.

Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:

There are 14 inch steel rims with original chrome hubcaps mounted. Tyres and brakes are in good condition and there is nothing to complain about on the chassis.

Interior:

In a beautiful contrast to the white exterior color, the blue interior is kept with fabric seats. There are no changes in the interior of the Mercedes-Benz that deviate from the original condition. The manageable optional equipment includes a mechanical sunroof, central locking, heat-insulating glass all around, a centre armrest at the front and a split folding rear bench.

Mileage

195,000 kilometres can be read from the speedometer of the 200 T. This mileage can be partially traced on the basis of documents, and the overall condition of the Estate also makes this mileage seem credible. All instruments function without any problems.

Engine

The 2.0-liter carburetor engine delivers 109 hp, via a 4-speed manual transmission, the power is transmitted to the rear wheels.

Subsoil:

According to the seller, the underbody of the Model T is free of rust and damage.
