Model history:

As with the 964, Porsche builds on a considerable variety of bodies for the 993. After the coupé introduced in 1993, the convertible was already available in 1994 and a year later even the Targa version of the 993 came onto the market. Typical features of the 993 are the retractable rear spoiler for all Carrera models and the flattened headlights. The body with the wide rear, which has been smoothed out compared to the 964, not only looks much more modern, it also increases its rigidity. In total, almost 18,000 of the 993 convertibles were produced, and in 1998 the last air-cooled Porsche 911 rolled off the assembly line in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.

The Porsche 911 released for auction in this auction is a 993 Cabriolet, which was first registered in 1994 with the VIN WP0ZZZ99ZSS330659 and which, according to the seller, has only 3 owners to this day. In addition to the so-called matching numbers, this Zuffenhausen sports car also has TÜV until June 2023, and there is also a complete checkbook for the car and the history of the 993 convertible can thus be proven. It is also worth mentioning that this 911 comes from German first delivery.

Exterior paint/paint/body:

The body of this 993 convertible is kept in classic sporty black - after consultation with the seller, it turns out that the rear bumper on the right has been repainted due to scratches. Visually, this Porsche is apparently in its original condition without modifications and all plastic add-on parts on the exterior are in good condition. Like the paint, the soft top of this convertible is also dyed in black. According to the seller, the soft top showed signs of wear, but these were repaired. Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:

As tires, Pirelli tires are mounted on original 5-spoke Porsche alloy wheels (which have a few chips), which, according to the current owner, have a condition of 70-90%. The seller also certifies a 70-90% condition assessment of the Porsche's brakes, according to him, no modifications are known in the area of the chassis.

Interior:

The colour black is also omnipresent in the interior: apart from minimal signs of wear on the outer driver's seat bolster, the interior is in a well-preserved condition - for the Porsche's age of almost 30 years. Serious deficiencies that could tarnish the well-groomed overall appearance of the interior obviously cannot be found. In addition to the leather seats, the equipment includes air conditioning, ABS, cruise control, electrically adjustable seats, heated seats and a cassette radio. Mileage:

The 6-digit speedometer of this Porsche 911 Cabriolet shows a mileage of 120,851 kilometers. Due to a complete checkbook, the history of the car can be traced. All instruments in the instrument cluster do their job without any problems.

Engine:

In the rear of this Porsche works a 3.6-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, which delivers 272 hp to all four wheels - shifted by means of a 6-speed manual transmission. According to the seller, the Porsche runs very well and he is not aware of any inconsistencies regarding the engine or transmission.
