Model history
The E-Class Cabriolet of the 124 series was introduced in 1991 and was technically based on the coupé. In order to achieve the necessary rigidity, around 1,000 components were modified or newly developed. Initially, the Cabriolet was available exclusively with the 3.0-liter four-valve engine, followed later by the 3.2-liter six-cylinder, which was marketed as the E 320 from 1993 onwards. From the 1993 model update onwards, four-cylinder variants such as the E 200 and E 220 were also available. Production ended in 1997 – most recently with the special "Final Edition" model.

LG Tom
