The C123 auctioned at Kickdown is a 280 CE built in 1981. First approved in September of the same year. To date, the 280 CE has had three holders and is a German first delivery. The car has two keys, the VIN WDB12305312024482 and still TÜV up to 3/23. With the existing H-approval, it could go directly to the end of the classic car season. A checkbook is included, but incomplete. However, the history is traceable on the basis of receipts, invoices, etc. At least in current ownership, the car remained accident-free.

The Upper Class Coupe of the 70s is painted in plain white and, according to the seller, has no visible defects in the body.

As a spare part, the original baroque rims from Fuchs are very sought after and expensive. The Mercedes-Benz 280 CE advertised here at Kickdown has already installed them. On top of that, there are tyres as good as new. The brakes are in good condition to bring the beautiful coupe back to a standstill during a trip.

The interior is free of damage and has some comfort extras for a car from the period. Power steering, central locking and radio for comfortable operation and a partial leather interior for a great atmosphere.

The mileage is given as 160,000 km. All built-in instruments work.

The 280 CE is powered by the engine internally called M110. A 2.8l six-cylinder with a proud 185 hp in the injection version installed here. And as befits an elegant Mercedes-Benz Coupe, the drive is provided by means of an automatic transmission. The last service was only 03/21 and the technology, as well as the underbody, are in top condition.

For Mercedes-Benz lovers with a penchant for the special, this beautiful 280 CE should be on the list. The car has a complete restoration and several receipts as proofs of history. And on top of that, there is the nice feeling of owning a noble car, of which some copies of this series are already stored in museums.
