The Mercedes-Benz 380 SL was a two-door roadster in the upper middle class, which was produced by Daimler-Benz AG from 1980 to 1985 and was part of the R107 series, also known as the SLC class. As the top model of the R107 series, the 380 SL was celebrated for its powerful engine. Interestingly, the 380 SL was also available as a coupé and was considered a successful racing car.

• The seller further states: A further defect (can be heard in the start video) currently exists in the injection system: cold start is not a problem. When starting the engine when warm, the car occasionally gets too much fuel (this does not happen regularly) and "saws" at the beginning, as can be seen in the video. The whole thing is difficult to describe and only occurs periodically - so it is not a permanent condition. A Mercedes expert tells me that this is a problem with the correct setting of the injection.
