• The Porsche 944 S2 Cabrio was presented for the first time in 1989 at the IAA in Frankfurt am Main. Series production began a little later, at the beginning of 1990, when the convertible was equipped with a 2.5 four-cylinder engine that produced 211 hp in combination with a manual transmission. By 1992, only about 7000 units of it had been produced, making the vehicle a highlight for collectors and enthusiasts.
