Model History
The Porsche 964, first introduced in 1989, was a radical evolution of the Carrera 3.2. It was initially offered as the all-wheel-drive “Carrera 4,” followed by the rear-wheel-drive “Carrera 2” version in 1990. The 964 was the last model to feature the classic removable Targa roof.
Equipped with a 3.6-liter flat-six engine and a revised suspension with coil springs, the 964 introduced power steering and ABS as standard features for the first time. Aerodynamics were improved by flush bumpers and an electric rear spoiler system. Inside, dual airbags and an improved climate control system were introduced.

Questions and Comments
LG Tom
