Model history

The Mercedes-Benz SL of the R129 series was produced from 1989 to 2001 and replaced the R107. It featured numerous technical innovations such as a fully automatic soft top and an integrated roll bar. The R129 is still considered a particularly elegant and innovative roadster of its time.
