Model history

The third generation of the Chevrolet Corvette (C3), produced from 1968 to 1982, marked a stylistic shift towards the futuristic "Mako Shark II" concept car. It was the first Corvette model to feature the characteristic Targa roofs with removable roof halves. Over the years, it underwent continuous technical and visual modifications – from the introduction of plastic bumpers to the switch to lead-free engines. The 1977 model was the last to feature the typical vertical rear window. With its iconic design and classic V8 sound, the C3 is one of the most influential US sports cars of its time.

LG Tom
