Chevrolet's Advance Design series is a light and medium-duty truck range that was introduced as the first major redesign after the Second World War. Its GMC counterpart was the GMC New Design. Compared to the previous AK series, the Advance Design series was advertised as larger, stronger and sleeker. First available on June 28, 1947, these trucks were sold with various minor modifications until March 25, 1955.
