Model history:

In the second 3 Series generation (E30), BMW offered the 325e ("e" pronounced "eta", after the Greek letter for "efficiency") from 1985 a car with its own concept: Starting from the 320 six-cylinder engine, the 325e was created thanks to larger bore and longer stroke with just under 2.7 liters, the largest engine of the series, which initially 122, then produced 129 hp at only 4,250 (later 4,800) rpm and provided 230 Newton meters. With the 325e, BMW pursued, among other things, the goal of making the E30 particularly high-torque and comparatively economical compared to the other engine variants. The 325e was finally produced until 1987.

General information about the vehicle:

Now a BMW E30 325e from 1986 can be auctioned in this auction. This sedan with the FIN WBAAE610501252129 was first registered in November 1986 and ran in Holland from 2011 to 2022. How many holders this E30 has in total, is not known to the seller. In part, however, there is a history of the 325e, which can approximately prove the mileage. The so-called matching numbers are given according to the seller's statements and a new TÜV may be renewed by the current holder of the E30. 1 car key still exists for the BMW.

Exterior colour/varnish/body:

"Gazelle beige" is the name of the paint color of this E30 sedan - After consultation with the seller, he informs that except for usual signs of wear on the exterior there is no damage and according to him no repainting is recognizable. A black front spoiler and a rear spoiler ensure a sporty look of the body, otherwise the exterior of this BMW is adorned with various chrome trim elements. The current owner can rule out an accident, as according to him no damage to the E30 is recognizable.

Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:

Original rims together with apparently good condition tires ensure the external appearance of this E30 - the seller mentions that he may have new tires mounted on the car depending on the agreement. The current owner assesses the condition of the brakes as good. A discreet lowering ensures improved handling on this 325e.

Interior:

Brown fabric seats with a contemporary pattern can be found in the interior of the E30: no damage can be removed from the fabric and the steering wheel, the automatic selector lever and the door panels as well as the footwell carpet and the dashboard are apparently in good shape. Mileage

The car has covered almost 169,000 kilometres since its delivery in 1986 - this mileage can be roughly traced using Dutch documents. All electronic helpers and equipment features of the vehicle work perfectly according to the seller.

Engine

The in-line six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine of this 325e has a displacement of 2.7 liters - the individual gears are engaged via a 4-speed automatic transmission. According to the seller, there are no defects either in the engine or in the area of the transmission.

Subsoil:

No negative abnormalities can apparently be detected on the underside of this E30. A BMW 325e of the E30 series combines the advantages of petrol (very quiet, low noise emissions, spontaneous acceleration) and the turbodiesel engine (high torque at low revs, low consumption) – the 325e was an oddball in the BMW program of the 80s and still represents an interesting engine concept today. This sedan convinces with its good state of preservation and is intended, among other things, for people who appreciate a special engine concept.
