The Mercedes-Benz 300 CE-24 Cabriolet was introduced in 1991 as an open-top version of the 124 series. Technically based on the coupé, the body had to be extensively reinforced to compensate for the removal of the roof – over 1,000 components were modified or redesigned for this purpose. The open-top four-seater was initially launched with a 3.0-liter four-valve engine and was only built worldwide until 1993. With its classic fabric soft top, high-quality workmanship, and powerful inline six-cylinder engine, the 300 CE-24 Cabriolet is now one of the most sought-after youngtimers among the open-top Mercedes models of the 1990s.
