Technik: Porsche 982 ist die interne Bezeichnung der vierten Generation des Boxster/Cayman (dritte Generation des Cayman) des deutschen Automobilherstellers Porsche . Mit dem Wechsel zu einem neuen turbogeladenen Vierzylinder-Boxermotor wurde die Modellbezeichnung in Porsche 718 geändert , in Anlehnung an den 718 , der 1959 und 1960 die Targa Florio gewann. Der Name soll an Porsches frühere Rennerfolge mit leichten Fahrzeugen wie dem 718 erinnern, die Konkurrenten mit größeren und leistungsstärkeren Motoren überflügelten. 718 Boxster und Cayman S Der 718 Boxster wurde im Januar 2016 vorgestellt und feierte seine Premiere auf dem Genfer Autosalon 2016. Der 718 Cayman ergänzte die Modellreihe im April auf der Beijing Motor Show. Der 718 war mit zwei neuen, vier Zylindern umfassenden Boxermotoren mit Turbolader ausgestattet: 2,0 Liter Hubraum (Boxster/Cayman) und 2,5 Liter Hubraum (Boxster S/Cayman S). Diese Motoren boten ein höheres Drehmoment und mehr Leistung bei gleichzeitig geringerem Kraftstoffverbrauch. Der Turbolader des S-Modells nutzte die Technologie der variablen Turbinengeometrie (VTG). LG Tom
