The Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 was first presented at the 1973 Paris Motor Show and marked a turning point in Ferrari's history. Unlike its predecessors, the Dino 308 GT4 was powered by a V8 engine developed by Ferrari in collaboration with Fiat. The design of the 308 GT4 was created by Bertone and was characterized by its angular lines and striking radiator grille. The Dino 308 GT4 was the first Ferrari to be marketed not under the Ferrari brand name but under the sub-label Dino, in honor of Enzo Ferrari's son Alfredo Dino Ferrari. Despite initial criticism for its design and unconventional naming, the Dino 308 GT4 was recognized over time as an innovative and powerful model.
