The history of the vehicle, which has remained accident-free over the years, is completely comprehensible on the basis of the checkbook and other documents, but it cannot be said with absolute certainty whether matching numbers are available. The excellent state of preservation of the roadster was documented on the basis of a valuation report, and the Mercedes Benz of the R 107 model series is also certified as a historic vehicle. The next TÜV inspection does not have to be carried out until September 2023, so that the 450 SL is ready to drive and handed over to the new owner with 2 keys. The displays on the dashboard sometimes take some getting used to due to the US past of the vehicle, but no restrictions were observed in the functionality of the instruments.
