Italian sports cars are racy, French are avant-garde, German are reliable. And British sports cars? All of these are, but on top of that comes this typical British nobility, such a fine restraint. Hardly any other sports car is as racy, avant-garde, reliable and yet nobly restrained as the Jaguar E-Type. British designer Malcolm Sayer drew this extraordinary sports car. The English big cat was built from 1961 to 1974, the last examples were produced only as roadsters. And you can offer exactly such an E-Type here.

Our protagonist with the VIN UE1S23416 was first admitted to road traffic in July 1974, in the USA. It is therefore a US import, the E-Type was introduced to Germany in 1983. For this cool reason, it is no longer comprehensible how many owners the Jaguar had in total, also about the owners themselves nothing is known. In 1993, the vehicle was repainted. Equipped with two sets of keys, the islander has only passed the TÜV hurdle and is therefore allowed to move in the wild until August 2023. A checkbook has not been kept, but the Jaguar has an H-approval and has the coveted "Matching Numbers", for classic car connoisseurs the proof that the vehicle and all important components / units correspond to the delivery condition.

In addition, an expert opinion is available for the car, which according to the owner is accident-free. Nothing has been changed or modified on the original white painted body, it only shows some barely perceptible rust spots. For example, on the fuel filler flap there is edge rust, on the inside of the trunk lid is also a rust spot next to the hood lock to recognize. Nothing that cannot be remedied with simple means.

On the beautiful original wire-spoke rims, very good tires "Super Touring P4000" from Pirelli are mounted, which still have sufficient tread (eight millimeters). According to the owner, the brakes are perfectly fine, and the underbody is also in good condition, as can be seen in the numerous pictures. Defects in the areas of chassis, brakes and underbody are not known so far.

The interior is kept in a dark blue to match the exterior color. There is also no major damage to report here. The noble Englishman also shows the traces of his age here. A small crack in the door panel and carpet, as well as on the edge of the front, middle storage compartment. The gear knob shows signs of wear, but who is surprised? Such a Jaguar is not for lazy contemporaries. All instruments work perfectly. The equipment includes not only the folding roof, but also power steering and air conditioning are a matter of course. The radio is a very special part, not "oldtimer-like", but very useful and meaningful. It is an alpine radio with navigation device, hands-free system and extendable screen.

The mileage reading is 59,500, which corresponds to about 95,800 kilometers. All instruments work perfectly.

In the roadster rages a 5.3-liter V12 engine, which makes 270 hp, with the perfectly tuned four-speed manual transmission, the Jaguar achieves excellent driving performance. There are no known defects in the technology, a last service was carried out in May 2021. Some maintenance work has been carried out, the invoices are of course available. Nothing has to be done to the car at the moment. So, what else is there to consider? Put on your tweed jacket, the tweed cap on your head and off you go for the noble driving experience in one of the most legendary cult roadsters ever.
