In 1983, the revised Alfa Romeo Spider of the Series 3 was presented to the public: in the style of the 1980s, it had a lush front and rear spoiler. The new Spider, also known as "Aerodynamica", could be purchased with 1.6-liter or 2.0-liter in-line four-cylinder: Both engines could offer the unique Alfa sound. Rear-wheel drive and the special Spider seating position made the happiness complete. The crowning glory of the Series 3 was the so-called 2.0 Quadrifoglio Verde ("Green Cloverleaf"), in which Alfa Romeo ensured, among other things, with various body attachments that it differed from its tamer brothers. According to research, only about 2,600 copies of the top model Quadrifoglio Verde were built.

Now in this auction there is the possibility to buy an Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio Verde from the year 1987. The first registration of this Alfa with the FIN ZAR115380025500 took place in Greece, over the years the convertible then came to Germany. How many owners called the Spider their own is no longer known – a history is not available. In addition to an ignition key, there is also a vehicle key that locks the trunk. The Alfa Romeo sometimes does not have an H-approval, matching numbers are given and an expert opinion on the car is also available.

The colour of the Spider, known as the "Rosso Alfa", has been completely renewed externally: The repainting apparently has no defects such as colour differences or paint runners, and the gap dimensions can also be found in an acceptable condition. The only defects are minimal dents, which according to the seller's information come from a walnut tree. The new fabric top of the Quadrifoglio Verde is in crack-free condition – in addition, the plastic rear window has no cracking. Tires of the dimension 195/60 are mounted on original 15 inch Alfa Romeo alloy wheels: The tires are in good condition (they come from 2017), the aluminum rims are in used condition. In terms of braking, there are no serious flaws to be discovered and no negative abnormalities can be detected in the area of the chassis.

Grey full leather seats in undamaged condition can be found in the interior of this Alfa Romeo. Overall, the interior of the Spider can be attributed a well-preserved and well-groomed condition without any damage – even signs of wear are not to be found. In addition to the three-spoke leather steering wheel, the equipment of this Alfa includes electric windows and a Kenwood accessory radio. The fabric top is easy to operate: it opens and closes perfectly.

On the speedometer with the Jaeger instruments, the Alfa Romeo can read 72,540 kilometers: Although there is no history of the vehicle, this mileage looks quite credible on the outside and inside due to the very good condition. The function of all instruments in the interior is completely given.

The double camshaft in-line four-cylinder engine under the bonnet of this Quadrifoglio Verde delivers 128 hp from a displacement of 2.0 litres: shifting is via a 5-speed centre-shift transmission. A final service took place in 2021, recently the following parts were added: battery, all filters, starter, spark plug, V-belts, gasoline lines, vacuum lines, radiator lines. In total, over €4,000 has been paid for the recent repairs. Upcoming work is not to be listed.
