Triumph Stag (1975)

Louis Kalendruschat

Kickdown's Take

by Louis Kalendruschat

The Stag is a true rarity: With fewer than 26,000 units built and its unique, specially developed V8 engine, it is considered one of the very first safety convertibles ever made. This particular example underwent a comprehensive restoration in the 1990s and has been carefully maintained ever since; the engine and transmission were overhauled just about 10,000 miles ago. With extensive documentation, a TĂśV inspection valid through 2027, and fine extras like a hardtop and Becker radio, this is a rare classic for lovers of British roadsters.

LG Tom
