In the history of the automobile, many vehicles have sparked enthusiasm. They convinced with performance, equipment and design or have a high fascination as historical models with their long history and uniqueness. But there are also brands that are inseparably linked to famous personalities. James Dean had an accident in a Porsche 550 Spyder, Michael Schumacher became world champion several times on red speedsters from Maranello and Walter Röhrl made the Audi Quattro a legend. His fourth Monte Carlo victory and his phenomenal record drive at Pikes Peak are unforgettable and meant a terrific image gain for the car manufacturer with the four rings.

In this auction, an Audi TT RS "Legends Edition Walter Röhrl" is offered, which is an absolute rarity despite its youthfulness. It is the 4th example of a series limited to 11 cars, which was subsequently converted on the basis of a standard Audi TT RS by Mr. Kauderer in cooperation with Mr. Ziegler. Initially, the special model was to be built only for the rally duo Röhrl and Geistdörfer, until it was decided to expand the series to 11 pieces, as a tribute to the 11 joint rally years. The sporty vehicle, which was modified by the Abt Sportsline tuner, among others, received its first registration for road traffic in August 2021 and has so far only served as a demonstration car and test vehicle. It has remained accident-free during this time and will be offered in mint condition with matching numbers and TÜV approval until August 2024. The checkbook of the vehicle has been kept completely and will be handed over to the happy new owner with certificates, complete documents and the associated set of keys.

The dynamic character of this dream car is further underlined by the paint finish in tango red metallic. The vehicle is completely free of damage and is protected by XPEL paint protection film on the essential body components such as the bonnet, bumpers, fenders, wheel archers, side skirts and flaps. In the course of the conversion, the Audi was modified in many places on the outside to recall the iconic look of the short sports square. These include the Audi emblems and TT RS lettering in specially manufactured carbon parts. The exterior mirror flaps, fuel cap and rear wing are also made of carbon. Before delivery, the entire car was finished with a Sonax ceramic seal.

On the fourth example of the special edition, white OZ WRC 8.5 x 19 ET 38 alloy wheels are mounted, which form a perfect symbiosis with the sporty vehicle. New Goodyear tyres in size 245/35 are available for locomotion, the original sports suspension was replaced by the coilover suspension variant 3 from KW Automotive and personally tuned by Walter Röhrl. All components are in excellent condition, while the sporty, elegant overall appearance is further enhanced by the red painted brake calipers of the perfectly functioning brake system.

The interior of the Audi TT RS received its own design as a special edition. In the vehicle, black and white sports seats with a checkered seat and the lettering "W. Röhrl" are installed, in the rear part of the vehicle a Heigo roll cage has been integrated instead of the rear seat. The entire vehicle is laid out with a high-quality, dark carpet that bears the "Legends" lettering and indicates the limited number of vehicles. Almost all functions in the car can be controlled via the sports steering wheel covered with deerskin and provided with a 12 o'clock marking. Numerous factory-based optional extras leave nothing to be desired in the overall package, and many aspects have been taken into account, especially in safety issues. The vehicle has ABS, ESP, high beam assist, emergency call system, traction control and much more, with hill start assist, rain sensor, heated seats, automatic climate control, cruise control and many other components, attention has also been paid to the highest possible driving comfort. An Isofix device for child seats was even implemented and the Audi TT RS was equipped with a sound system, a hands-free system and additional components in a very attractive media way.

The vehicle has hardly been used so far and shows a mileage of 59 kilometers on the speedometer disc. This value can be proven by the complete documentation, as well as there is no doubt about the functionality of all instruments and technical controls in this new Audi TT RS Legends.

A 5-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 2.5 litres is fitted as standard, producing 400 hp (294 KW) and using a 7-speed S-Tronic automatic transmission. The sporty Audi TT of the special edition was increased in performance in the course of the "Legend" conversion by the tuning company ABT Sportline. In the course of the conversion, the car received 40 more hp and a torque increase of 70 Nm. The red Audi has been regularly serviced since its commissioning and rarely used, so that damage to the engine or technology is almost impossible and the underbody with all components is in great condition. Noteworthy repairs to the new Audi TT RS Quattro have not been necessary so far, but due to the high-quality materials and components used for the vehicle, this should not be necessary in the future.

Due to its limitations, this timelessly beautiful car is a real rarity that will provide a lot of joy and admiration.
