Model history:

Edoardo Bianchi, the founder of Autobianchi, started – like so many automotive pioneers – in a bicycle workshop. Since 1905, automobiles have also been assembled in his workshop. After the Second World War, Bianchi lacked the financial means to start an independent car production. So he founded the joint venture Autobianchi with Fiat and the tire manufacturer Pirelli. The new company made use of the Fiat Group's modular system, but created new solutions. This was also the case with the Bianchina model, which was actually a Fiat Nuova 500 with various special bodies.

General information about the vehicle:

The Autobianchi Bianchina offered in this auction, which dates from 1963, is the so-called variant "Panoramica". The car was first registered on 19.08.1963, the so-called matching numbers are assumed. Until recently, the vehicle was still driving on Italy's roads, until it was finally transferred to Augsburg. The car has not yet received German registration. The number of previous owners is also unknown.

Exterior colour/varnish/body:

Originally, the Fiat 500 Giardiniera served as the basis for this Autobianchi Bianchina: the special body of the Panoramica model released for auction here was then placed on this. Although the paint is not the best according to the seller, but from about 5 meters away, the paint pattern of the car is still classified as very good. All attachments of the car are available in complete and well-preserved condition and accident damage is not known to the seller. Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:

New tires came only recently on the Autobianchi on it, the original rims have a decent condition and in the area of the brakes, the current holder can not detect any inconsistencies - in addition, the chassis is preserved as original.

Interior:

The interior of the Autobianchi, equipped with imitation leather seats in 2-colour design (blue/white), is tasteful in terms of colour choice and very well matched by the exterior colour. The seller states that the entire interior of the vehicle is in very good condition without damage and missing parts are not visible. Mileage

A single round instrument is mounted on the dashboard: integrated into this is the 5-digit speedometer. 29,793 kilometers can be read on the odometer, an exact history of the Autobianchi is not available according to the current owner.

Engine

The in-line twin-cylinder engine of the Autobianchi Bianchina Panoramica located in the rear has 499.5 cc: it provides an output of 17.5 hp and the power is transmitted via a 4-speed manual transmission. A fresh service was carried out on this Autobianchi only recently, from the technical point of view, the seller certifies the car a very good condition.

Subsoil:

In view of the vehicle's age of almost 60 years, an obviously good substance can be taken from the underside of the Panoramica. With the different body variants of the Bianchina, Autobianchi brought various special bodies based on the Fiat 500 on the road, all of which clearly differ from their base by their bodies and thus have a unique appearance. With this Panoramica offered here it can be driven according to the seller information very nice and also fun - perfect as a daily-driver, which also acts as an eye-catcher on the roads.
