A Mercedes Benz 300 SEL 3.5 from 1970 is offered in this auction. The timelessly beautiful vehicle was first registered for road traffic in the same year and was then for a long time owned by a Zurich family, but it is not known exactly how many owners the limousine had in the following years. The checkbook gives indications of a total of 3 owners (but the reconstruction of the ownership actually suggests only 2 hand changes), but it is not completely managed, while the existence of matching numbers can be proven. The Mercedes SEL 300 W109 has remained accident-free for over 50 years and has been extensively restored in recent years and certified as a historic vehicle. The vehicle with the identity no. According to the current TÜV examination, WDB10905612004539 is fully roadworthy and will be handed over to the new owner with the original keys.

The Mercedes 300 SEL 3.5 is painted in a beautiful shade of brown, which further underlines the elegance of this historic sedan. No modifications have been made to the body, which has neither dents nor dents, even the color has been preserved in the original. No damage or defects could be found on the exterior, and the components have so far been spared from corrosion infestation.

Original Mercedes rims are mounted on the vehicle. They fit perfectly with the overall picture of the very well-maintained sedan and, like the tires and brakes, are in good condition. No changes have been made to the chassis of the Mercedes 300 SEL over the years and the extensive maintenance has meant that no defects could be detected in this area during the last inspection.

The interior presents itself in a luxurious ambience, in which the dark brown leather furniture and the representative cockpit with the white steering wheel conjure up a pleasant look. The wooden veneers have been refurbished and shine in new splendour, in general the interior is in very good condition and shows only slight signs of use. The Mercedes W109 has outstanding equipment for the time, which includes power steering, sunroof, air conditioning, central locking and electric windows, while an original Becker radio is responsible for a pleasant travel companion.

In its history, the vehicle has covered a distance of 70,798 kilometres. This value can be read on the speedometer display, as well as the existing documents can confirm the correctness of this information. The most important instruments in the cockpit of the vehicle work smoothly, only the electric antenna and the on-board clock can currently only be used to a limited extent.

The Mercedes 300 SEL 3.5 has a powerful eight-cylinder gasoline engine with a displacement of 3.5 liters, which generates an output of 200 hp (147 KW) with a D-Jetronic injection system from Bosch. The vehicle uses a 4-speed automatic transmission that accelerates the sedan from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 205 km/h. The last service on the Mercedes of the W109 series was carried out this year, and no defects or damage could be found on the engine and the technical components as well as on the underbody.

The technical functionality of the elegant automobile has been continuously checked in the recent past and wear parts have been consistently replaced. All necessary repairs could be completed in the course of this, so that apart from regular inspections, no workshop visits should be necessary.
The W109 model series is one of the highlights of the luxury class models from Mercedes-Benz. With the 300 SEL, it heralded a new era for the world-famous automobile manufacturer, which is continued to this day with the S-Class. An important innovation was the integration of the M116 engine, which distinguished the W109 from its visually similar predecessor model W112 and was used for Mercedes vehicles until 1991. The 300 SEL was produced less than 10,000 times between 1969 and 1972 and is now a real rarity and a collector's item coveted by many fans of the brand.

Vielen Dank
die Klimaanlage funktioniert mit "Gas" wurde nichts gemacht. Ja, Getriebe funktioniert perfekt. Ruckelt beim Rückwärtsgang nicht. Ja, alles trocken und falls vorher nicht (zB Hydrauliköl der Servolenkung), dann wurde es gemacht (Rechnungsbeleg). Das Luftfahrwerk bleibt gut eine Woche wenn der Wagen gefahren wurde und ist sehr schnell wieder oben. Zentralverriegelung wurde gemacht Niveauregulierung funktioniert sehr gut (ist ja der "Chockstick" mit weissem Punkt im Fussraum, ich nehme an, dass davon die Rede ist);
Standort Schweiz? Bei Einfuhr nach Deutschland sind welche Zusatzkosten (Steuer, Zoll) zu erwarten?
sorry, dazu kann ich nichts sagen ....
