    Technik: Der Porsche 992 ist die achte Generation des Porsche 911. Äußerlich unterscheidet sich der 992 nur in Details vom Vorgängermodell 991. Bezüglich der Plattform ist der Wechsel zum Modularen Mittelmotor-Baukasten (MMB) erwähnenswert; aus diesem sollen neben dem 911 auch die 718er-Modelle (Cayman und Boxster) abgeleitet werden. Der Wagen ist bei gleichem Radstand 20 mm länger und 5 mm höher als sein Vorgänger. Die vordere Haube und die Frontschürze mit verstellbaren Klappen verlaufen geradliniger, die vorderen Kotflügel sind vergrößert, die Räder um 25,4 mm breiter und hinten ein Zoll größer als vorn. Am Heck findet sich beim 992 auch in den Grundausführungen ein durchgehendes Leuchtband, das es beim 991 ausschließlich an den allradgetriebenen Varianten gab. Die Spurweite ist im Vergleich zum Vorgänger um 40 mm breiter. Die Instrumente im Innenraum sind bis auf den analogen Drehzahlmesser digital. Zu den neuen Ausstattungsextras zählen ein Spurhalte- und Nachtsichtassistent sowie ein Parkassistent mit 360-Grad-Ansicht.
