Model history

The Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 was first unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 1973 and marked a turning point in Ferrari's history. Unlike its predecessors, the Dino 308 GT4 was powered by a V8 engine developed by Ferrari in collaboration with Fiat. The design of the 308 GT4 was created by Bertone and was characterized by its angular lines and striking radiator grille. The Dino 308 GT4 was the first Ferrari to be marketed under the Dino sub-label rather than the Ferrari brand name, in honor of Enzo Ferrari's son Alfredo Dino Ferrari. Despite initial criticism of its design and unconventional naming, the Dino 308 GT4 has come to be recognized as an innovative and powerful model.
