Such beauty is for sale here. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT veloce has three previous owners, the last one bought the vehicle in the south of France, in Nice, brought it to Germany and registered it here. It is therefore an imported vehicle. The last valid MOT of the racy southern European ran until September 2022. At the moment she is not allowed to drive, she is not registered, but ready to drive. It can easily be re-registered for road traffic with an H license plate. There is no checkbook, but there is extensive documentation. A whole folder full of invoices documents the repairs of the last ten years. A Classic Data report dated 28 August 2018 did not record any indications of any accidental damage.

Painted in the original Alfa Romeo "biancospino" colour, a noble shade of white (colour code 013), the bodywork is free of any rust spots, dents, quirks or other deteriorations. Only the rear bumper is missing, but it was intentionally removed. Not because there is something bad behind it, but purely for visual reasons. This makes the veloce (the fast) ancora più veloce, i.e. even faster. At least that's how it felt. If desired, however, the rear bumper can be reattached.

The timelessly beautiful Signorina rolls through the world on wide summer tires, which are of course new and registered in the vehicle documents. The tires are mounted on the original 15" steel rims with equally original hubcaps. The chassis and front axle have been completely overhauled. The bella macchina was equipped with new Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach sport springs. The front axle got new upper wishbones, namely adjustable copies. The brakes were also overhauled, they can be called as new. Since then, barely 4,000 kilometers have been covered. Therefore, it is hardly surprising that, according to the owner, no defects can be found here.

Also in the interior, tutto va bene. All original. The seats have been reupholstered with original materials, new three-point automatic belts have been installed at the front, and there is a fire extinguisher in the footwell in front of the front passenger seat. You won't find any damage in the interior either.

All instruments do what they are supposed to do without complaint, the odometer stands at around 75,000. This is not verifiable, but credible, considering the excellent substance of the vehicle.

The beauty is powered by the 1.6-liter engine. This unit draws 109 hp from 1,570 cm³, which is delivered to the rear wheels by means of a standard five-speed gearbox. There is no damage to report here either. Where on earth are they supposed to come from, given the vehicle history?

The underbody, like the rest of the vehicle, is in very good condition. Especially on the outer sills you can still see the original welding points from the factory. With every kilometre driven, the Giulia asserts how much it was loved. And will. So, fall in love, buy and cruise into the romantic sunset together.

Pure Nostalgie. Hatte ein ähnliches Modell auch damals. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.
