The Mercedes-Benz C107 280 SLC was produced from 1974 to 1981 as a coupé version of the legendary R107 series. In contrast to the open-top SL, the SLC had an extended body with a fixed roof and rear side windows with distinctive louvres, which gave it an elegant yet sporty appearance. The 280 SLC was powered by a 2.8-liter in-line six-cylinder engine with 177-185 hp, which offered a good balance of performance and smooth running. Thanks to its long body and comfortable chassis, the SLC was particularly suitable as a luxurious touring car with space for four people.
