Model history
The Audi RS2 Avant, also known as the Audi P1, was introduced in 1994 as the first high-performance model in the Audi RS series. It was developed in cooperation with Porsche and was produced at their plant in Zuffenhausen. The RS2 Avant was based on the Audi 80 Avant and was equipped with a 2.2-liter five-cylinder turbo engine that produced 315 hp. With its all-wheel drive and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds, the RS2 set new standards for estate cars. Visually, it was distinguished by modified bumpers, side skirts and special Porsche rims. The Audi RS2 Avant was only produced until 1995 and is now regarded as a cult car and pioneer for the later RS models.

Comments of this past auction
Mfg
