Model history

The Daimler 2.5 V8/V8-250 is an impressive four-door sedan that was produced in the UK between 1962 and 1969. The model was a milestone in Daimler's history as it was the first vehicle to be based on the Jaguar platform and featured an innovative self-supporting body. It also marked the end of an era, as it was the last car to be produced with a motorized heart from Daimler. The car was powered by a distinctive V8 engine with a hemispherical cylinder head, which was developed by Edward Turner and had previously been used in the legendary Daimler SP250 sports car.

4885 Exemplare. LG Tom
