Mercedes Benz 190 SL W121 (1960)

Leonard Deppen

Kickdown's Take

by Leonard Deppen

The 190 SL is the elegant little brother of the legendary 300 SL and ranks among the most sought-after Mercedes-Benz classics. This 1960 model underwent a comprehensive restoration in 2006–2007, received a Grade 1- rating in 2009, and has been stored in a garage ever since. Silver with dark blue leather and a matching fabric convertible top, along with spoke wheels, a Becker Europa radio, and early bucket seats, create a wonderfully harmonious look. The original Solex carburetors are included, and the TÜV inspection will be renewed. A dream come true for fans of early SLs!

Questions and Comments
