Technik: Der Mercedes-Benz W 108 ist ein Oberklasse-Modell von Daimler-Benz, das von Mitte 1965 bis Herbst 1972 produziert wurde. Die Baureihe W 108 hatte stets konventionelle Stahlfederung, während die 300 SEL mit Luftfederung als W 109 bezeichnet wurden. Die Modellpflege im Frühjahr 1968 brachte den Übergang von der mechanischen zur elektronischen Saugrohreinspritzung.
