Model history

Despite its long history, AC is one of Britain's oldest car manufacturers and made a lasting impression with the Ace, which was presented at the London Motor Show in 1953. The Ace is considered to be one of the first post-war sports cars in England and impressed with its attractive bodywork and a sporty yet simple chassis. In the following years, the design served as the basis for the iconic Shelby Cobra, which was developed by Carroll Shelby.
