Introduction

As the successor to the Murciéöago, the super sports car manufacturer Lamborghini presented its new fighting bull at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011: The Aventador. The monocoque of the Aventador is largely made of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic, while the engine is a V12 designed as a mid-engine. The 700 hp variant was followed in 2017 by the Aventador "S" with 740 hp, which has, among other things, increased downforce on the front axle compared to the production model. Over the years, Lamborghini also launched various special models - ultimately, almost 11,500 Aventador models were built by the end of production in 2022.
