Ford has been one of the most important vehicle manufacturers in the world for over a century and is considered one of the pioneers of automotive engineering due to its history. The beginning of fame goes back to founder Henry Ford, whose Model T was the world's first car produced on the assembly line, but even in the decades that followed, Ford was known for its innovations in the industry. In the 1960s, the Ford Mustang became a prime example of the so-called "pony car", with the slightly modified Ford Capri this concept became a huge success on the European market a few years later.

In this auction, a Ford Capri II GL is offered, which rolled off the production line in Cologne in 1976. The vehicle was first registered for road traffic in the summer of the same year and has been preserved in its basic substance to this day. The last service on the vehicle was carried out in 2019, and no defects could be found in the engine, transmission and all other technology.
