Model history
When it was presented in 1961, the public was astonished. Both visually and technically, the E-Type was very similar to the Jaguar D-Type, which had been extremely successful from the mid-1950s onwards. With a top speed of around 240 km/h, an E-Type was in the same class as its far more expensive competitors - the E-Type was available from as little as 26,000 marks. Two body variants were initially offered, the Fixed Head Coupé (FHC) and a convertible, the Open Two-Seater (OTS), later a 2 + 2 seater with 23 centimeters more wheelbase was added. Initially, the robust and extremely reliable six-cylinder engines were available; at the end of the production period, a prestigious V12 was used in the engine compartment of the E-Type.

Summary of the car
This Jaguar E-Type Series 1 presents itself in an extremely well-kept condition. The Jaguar has a current MOT and an H license plate. In addition, the classic car has been extensively restored since 2022, with around €23,400 invested in this work. But the result is impressive. The vehicle in British Racing Green is visually and technically at its best - a few small things still need to be done - but overall, a real highlight is being offered for sale here.
