Compared to the Mercedes-Benz R 107, the SL generation of the R 129 series came across as more massive and left the baroque design behind. Paint-wise, this Mercedes-Benz SL 500 finished in "Jasper Blue Metallic" presents itself in apparently decent shape, a repaint on the front left (on the driver's side) took place due to a rear-end collision, according to the seller. Otherwise, the current owner is not aware of any repainting on the vehicle, moreover, there are no modifications deviating from the original condition to mention and all plastic attachments show up in full and at the same time clean condition preserved on the car.
