Mercedes Benz W124 500 E (1992)

Vehicle description

A 1992 Mercedes-Benz W124 500 E in Bornit Metallic with black leather interior is available for sale.

Highlights:

  • The car was initially delivered from Stuttgart to Japan in 1992, where it was probably displayed in a showroom for several years before being registered for the first time in 1996.

  • Very good technical condition, everything is in working order
  • 18-inch AMG wheels installed
  • Extensive service records, many invoices from 2024
  • Investments of around €5,000 in recent years—among other things, the engine wiring harness and fuel pump have been replaced and a sports exhaust installed

Model history

The Mercedes-Benz 500 E, known as the E 500 from 1994 onwards, was developed between 1990 and 1995 in cooperation with Porsche. In order to accommodate the 5.0-liter V8 in the W124, the body was specially adapted and some of the assembly was carried out at Porsche in Zuffenhausen. Thanks to this complex manufacturing process, the E 500 is still considered an exclusive sports sedan that combines understatement with impressive performance.
