Model history

The Porsche 997 introduced the sixth generation of the 911 in 2004 – visually much more classic than its predecessor, the 996, with round headlights and a higher-quality interior. This was followed in 2009 by an extensive facelift with more efficient direct injection engines and the new PDK dual-clutch transmission. In 2010, the GTS was the sportiest variant below the GT3 – with a wider body, more power, sporty equipment, and exclusive design elements. A 997 GTS combines driving pleasure and everyday practicality like no other 911.

LG Tom
