Model history:

In 2006, Audi presented the "R8" (internal type designation 42), its most exclusive automotive image carrier to date, and at the same time its first series-produced mid-engine sports car. To save weight of the all-wheel drive R8, the body is made entirely of aluminum, the power transmission of the V8 or V10 (available from 2009) engines took over either a manual 6-speed transmission or optionally the R Tronic called automated manual transmission. Between 2007 and 2015, a total of just over 26,000 units of the Audi R8 were produced – the 2nd generation (4S) produced since 2015 is still in production today.

The so-called matching numbers are assumed for this R8 with the VIN WUAZZZ42X8N000215 - a history is available in the form of a complete checkbook for the car. The last completed main inspection is valid until April 2024. In addition, the seller states that this is a non-smoking and garage vehicle.

Exterior colour/varnish/body:

In terms of color, this Audi R8 is kept in classic silver, the sideblades stand out due to their gray color scheme and thus stand out a bit. No repaints have been done over the years - which means that this sports car still wears its first paint dress. Modifications to the exterior are not known after consultation with the current owner. According to the seller, minimal paint damage can only be found on the right and left door sills, otherwise all attachments are in good condition.

Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:

Pirelli tires from the 2017/2018 production year in the dimensions 235/35 on the front axle and 295/30 are fitted with 19-inch Audi alloy wheels. The seller attests to the brakes a condition between 70-90%, in the area of the chassis there are no inconsistencies according to the current owner.

Interior:

Sporty and mostly in black, the interior of this Audi R8 is lined with plenty of leather - except for a worn driver's seat bolster, the interior of this sports car can apparently be taken from no defect. In addition to the full leather sports seats, seat heating, air conditioning, cruise control, navigation system and a Bang & Olufsen stereo system are on board the Audi. Mileage

The display in the speedometer shows the mileage of this R8 of almost 98,000 kilometers. A complete checkbook is available and allows the total mileage of the vehicle to be proven beyond doubt. All digital displays and instruments in the interior of the Audi are fully functional.

Engine

The 4.2-liter V8 mid-engine of this R8 delivers 420 hp: The gears are engaged via an R-Tronic transmission and the power of the 8 cylinders is brought to the road by all-wheel drive. The sports exhaust system from Eisenmann ensures a decent sound. In March 2022, according to the sellers' statements, a final service was carried out.
