Model history
The Chrysler Airstream was a vehicle from the US manufacturer Chrysler and was offered in 1935 and 1936. Compared to other models of this era, it was considered conventional, but already had modern features such as hydraulic brakes, automatic overdrive and choke. The model series was available with in-line six or eight-cylinder engines. The most powerful version produced up to 110 hp. The Airstream was a major commercial success for Chrysler in the 1930s.
