Juri Pilawa

Kickdown's Take

by Juri Pilawa

This 1984 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa embodies the air-cooled 911 driving experience in its purest form. The 3.2-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, producing 207 PS, runs flawlessly, and the 5-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly. It has been in its current owner’s possession since 2014, during which time the G-model has undergone extensive maintenance. With an H license plate and a fresh TÜV inspection valid through May 2028, it’s ready to hit the road right away. A classic Targa for lovers of air-cooled Porsches!

This classic, originally delivered in the U.S., has been in its current owner’s possession since 2014 and has a verifiable mileage of 135,137 miles or 217,482 kilometers. The vehicle is currently not registered, but it has an “H” license plate and a TÜV inspection valid through May 2028; it passed its last general inspection without any defects. The body is in good condition for its age, has been partially repainted, and, according to the seller, rust is not an issue. What makes this 911 Carrera Targa particularly attractive is its 3.2-liter six-cylinder boxer engine with 207 PS, the 5-speed manual transmission, the classic Targa body, cruise control, power windows, and the included U.S. documentation. This is an interesting opportunity to acquire an air-cooled Porsche 911 G-model Targa with a U.S. history and an “H” license plate.

LG Tom
