Model history

The Porsche 911 SC was introduced in the 1978 model year as the sole 911 series, replacing the previous 911 and Carrera models. In 1984, it was replaced by the 911 Carrera. Technically, the SC was based on a 3.0-liter boxer engine, whose power was increased from 180 to 204 hp over the years. From 1979, black anodized trim parts and headlight rings painted in the car's color replaced the previously chrome-plated elements. To this day, the 911 SC remains one of the most sought-after classics among Porsche models.

LG Tom
