Technik: Bis heute fließen bei der BMW M GmbH die Erkenntnisse aus dem Motorsport in die Serienfahrzeuge ein, die Wurzeln der Marke finden sich in jedem Automobil, das den stärksten Buchstaben der Welt trägt. So war es auch beim ersten Serienmodell der Marke. Das Triebwerk des BMW M535i beruht auf derselben Basis wie der Motor des BMW M1. Der 3,5 Liter große Reihen-Sechszylinder des stärksten E12 5er ist entsprechend potent: 160 kW (218 PS) und 310 Nm stehen auf dem Datenblatt. LG Tom
