The Mercedes-Benz SL R129, launched in 1989, set new standards in the luxury convertible segment. As the direct predecessor of the R107, it inherited its stylish legacy. With various engine options, including 6- and 8-cylinder units with different displacements, the R129 offered a wide range of performance options. The top models such as the SL 600 impressed with a powerful V12. Over 200,000 vehicles were produced before it was replaced in 2001, and the R129 will be remembered as an iconic roadster.

@Alex - bzgl. der Reifen war das eine konkrete Aussage vom TÜV Süd und mit US Xenons hatte auch noch nie Probleme - bis das die Gläser ausgetauscht werden MÜSSEN. US Xenons stwellen sich auch ein - sieht man immer beim einschalten im dunkeln wie die sich bewegen. Und eine Scheinwerferwaschanlage und manuell einstellbare LWR war auch nie ein Thema beim TÜV. Wie gesagt, kann die Abnahme gerne gg. Kostenerstattung vornehmen und Sie zahlen nur für die Streuscheiben, deren Einbau und Standlichtumbau nebst TÜV Gebühren.
@Alex_E: Lt. meiner lokalen TÜV Behörde ist der Austausch der Streuscheiben der Hauptscheinwerfer und Umrüstung der US Standlichtbeleuchtung vorn von gelb auf weiß als einzigstes zwingend. Die Reifen sind in 2023 neu aufgezogen worden und können lt. meinem TÜV Prüfer "aufgefahren" werden. Alles andere verbleibt. "EU Gurte und Spiegelgläser" habe ich noch nie gehört und das war beim TÜV, bzw. der Vollabnahme eines anderen R129er zur Registrierung kein Thema. Gern kann ich die Vollabnahme für den Käufer gegen Kostenerstattung durchführen lassen. Da die Bieterschaft auf Kickdown aber international ist und der deutsche TÜV für bspw. einen Franzosen oder Italiener etc. unrelevant ist, da dieser in anderen Ländern nicht anerkannt wird und jedes Land andere Zulassungsbestimmungen hat, war eine vorherige deutsche Vollabnahme sinnfrei. Ich hoffe, das dies Ihre Fragen beantwortet.

PS: Das mit den US - Reifen ist Good Will oder Bad Will des Gutachters; kann so oder so ausgehen
Hallo, einige Fragen zur Umrüstung auf EU : Haben die Reifen EU - Nummer ? Sind die Spiegelgläser auf EU getauscht ? Haben die Gurte EU - Zulassung ? Existiert ein Datenblatt Abgas für das Auto ? Thema Xenon USA : ist Leuchtweitenregulierung bereits nachgerüstet ? sind die Streuscheiben in den Scheinwerfer auf EU umgerüstet ? Gibt es eine Ausnahemgenehmigung für „ohne Scheinwerferreinigungsanlage“ ? hat der Wagen die Xenon-USA ( Code 612 ) von Anfang an ? Wäre nett, wenn genauer beschrieben wird, was für einen deutsche Zulassung schon alles gemacht wurde ? VG. Alex
