Model history

• The Jaguar XK140 SE Roadster, produced from 1954 to 1957, set new standards in the sports car segment. As the successor to the XK120, it featured improved brakes, rack-and-pinion steering, increased suspension travel and telescopic shock absorbers. With the XK 140 SE, Jaguar offered a sports version, the so-called S version, whose engine took over the cylinder head of the Jaguar C-Type, which thus produced 30 hp more (210 hp in total). It also received a twin exhaust system and a few other additions. Under the hood of the roadster is a 3.4 liter six-cylinder engine, coupled with a manual gearbox. The interior features an elegant leather interior. Because the XK140 SE was one of the best sports cars of its time, it is now considered an absolute collector's item.
