In March 1995, Porsche presented the latest generation of the 911 Turbo at the Geneva Motor Show, ending an 18-month vacancy. The new top-of-the-range model of the 993 series was radically different in many respects and broke with the conventions of its predecessors. The turbo was equipped with all-wheel drive, which came from the 911 Carrera 4. Overall, however, the all-wheel drive cost only about 30 kilograms, which makes the vehicle heavier compared to its rear-wheel drive predecessor – the rest was saved elsewhere. Two turbochargers and two intercoolers propelled the 3.6-litre boxer engine into new performance regions. So-called factory performance enhancements ("WLS") from Porsche or measures modified by the company RUF gave customers even more power.

Visually, the original Porsche GT2 Aerokit (part no.: 993.505.005.80) in the color called "Arena Red Metallic" immediately catches the eye, which helps this 911 a better aerodynamics and a stronger optical proximity to the racing versions. Defects in the body of the car can not be complained about, as all components on the exterior are in a good condition. Due to various stone chips, a repainting took place in the area of the bonnet, otherwise the seller is not aware of any repainting – furthermore, he points out that he had no accident with the Porsche during its holding period.

The Porsche 911 offered in this auction is a 993 Turbo RUF with WLS 1 from 1997, which was first delivered in Germany. The car with the FIN WP0ZZZ99ZVS370716 comes from first hand – the owner, who had registered the 993 on 18.03.1997 for the first time, is a lawyer from Munich. The entire history can be traced back to the vehicle, as in addition to various documents, the original checkbook is also included. In addition, all vehicle keys exist. The last completed main inspection runs until June 2022, the current holder assumes matching numbers. Also worth mentioning is an existing report on this Porsche 993 Turbo.

In mint condition, the tyres of the Michelin brand present themselves on the 911: These are mounted on original 5-spoke turbo rims, which are designed as hollow-spoke wheels. Neither curb scratches nor other damage can be removed from the aluminium rims. The perforated brake discs on the turbo are very well preserved. Bilstein dampers were installed on the chassis.

Black leather in the interior of the Porsche Turbo serves as a contrast to the exterior colour in arena red metallic: apart from a slightly patinated driver's seat, no missing parts, signs of wear or damage can be detected in the interior of this 911. Even the 4-spoke leather steering wheel with integrated airbag is not particularly worn, the leather shift lever is in perfect condition. Features on board this turbo include the following features: power steering, central locking, electric windows, electric seats, air conditioning, heated seats, ABS, an original Porsche CD radio, a Nokia phone and a hands-free kit.

The leathered dashboard houses the typical Porsche 5 round instruments, all of which have a flawless function. This car has covered 178,960 kilometres since its delivery to date. Proof of this total mileage can be provided on the one hand by a complete Porsche checkbook, on the other hand by various documents such as former invoices and TÜV reports.

Thanks to the so-called WLS 1 and performance-enhancing measures by RUF, this Porsche now has almost 490 hp, which are distributed to all 4 wheels by the six-cylinder boxer engine of the type M64/60R. Shifting is done by means of a 6-speed manual transmission. According to the seller, a final service took place in 2020, all customer services were carried out regularly – defects in the technology are currently not to be listed.
